Venue: WHAT CAFE 什么咖啡屋

Overall comment: A comfortable, cozy, mini comic library and home like hanging place with affordable priced food and varieties to suit different taste and wants.

Located at a second-floored shop lots, it has more space then you could have imagined and definitely the place you wanna hang at with your friends to chat good chat time and fellowship. The food varieties includes from Western to Sub-Western to Chinese food and even other cultural combinations. Young people would just go to the place to hang to have fun with all the recreational things they offer.

So i was invited by Sophia to go over to try out the place with some friends. Very good few hours spent indeed :)

Final Verdict : Good food, good ambiance, good place. I would say the price is not too expensive for this kind of place and the taste is definitely worth trying. It's one place i would definitely go back again! The feeling the place gives is very homey like and with the thousands of comics and decorations they have it would be the perfect place to spend to your free time and it would be heaven for comic lovers and art lovers too!

another Chapter of my Life

So..........

you may not have wondered why there's so little update recently

(because i know few of you really come here often :) )

it was mainly due to coursework, test, assignments, people, and cf perhaps.

one after another. kind of made me had less sleep also.

so what was up?!

TARC CF' latest event : Love : Unplugged

It was definitely an honor to be able to do God's work and to help whatever we could.

it was not easy i guess. duh.

my preparation wasn't that well and sufficient,

things CHANGED every time we practiced,
i was reluctant to do it at first.

we needed strength and anointing to take up the challenge,

and we did got it :)

now for my part which was the starting act.

i know it just some minor performance but for me,

it wasn't.

it was my first time being up on stage playing not for praise and worship.

i wanna thank the organizers which of course was Him, Bong Yang and Daniel for asking me to assist Daniel.

Being partners with Tong was fun i guess :)

(though he did do his signature move)

(which caused me to miss a beat)

(the move was forgetting)

i did learn a lot of new stuff and there was definitely lots of experience gained.

the rest of the night went on awesomer.

one after another of God's given talents to the performers performed and rocked.
davidstory, andrewtan, davidyeoh, josephinelee, michelleloh and joeylee

all sorts of challenges and obstacles came but through His grace,

everything went well and smoothly.
truly hope the friends i brought went back with something.

and so much about love lately.
why at times like this things just seem to be hinting one after another,
so is it right or not?
i need more signs i suppose.

Troll / Bullshit Blockage : No more free downloads as MCMC blocks 10 file sharing sites

PETALING JAYA: In a bid to combat piracy, the Government has declared war on filesharing websites with 10 such websites now blocked by the telecommunications industry watchdog.

The websites were among the most visited sites by Malaysians to illegally download movies.

On May 30, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) had written a letter to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) ordering the block.

The letter was signed by Digital Security Services division acting seniordirector Eneng Faridah Iskandar.

The letter, which was leaked online, also stated that the websites were being blocked for breaching Section 41 of the Copyright Act 1987, which deals with pirated content.

An MCMC spokesperson confirmed the ban and said it was done on the request of the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry.

The ministry's enforcement division director-general Mohd Roslan Mahayudin confirmed that the request was made.

“It is standard procedure for the ministry to request MCMC to block sites that violate the Copyright Act 1987,” he told The Star.

Roslan said the ministry had requested that 19 websites, including the 10 listed in the letter, be blocked for violating the Act but added that it was up to MCMC to decide on which ones to block.

When asked about the fate of surfers who legally use the websites such as for storing non-pirated content, Mohd Roslan said they could always write to the ministry.

“Anyone who feels the ban is wrong can write to us and we will look into it,” he said.

Film maker Norman Abd Halim of KRU Studios said the move was long overdue.

“The unauthorised use of copyright work is destroying the industry. If everyone feels that works should be shared, then there is no value in these works,” he said.

Norman equated the move to South Korea's three-strikes law, where a person guilty of copyright infringement can have their Internet access suspended for six months.

However, irate users have vented their frustration by creating a Facebook page to protest.

By 8.30pm yesterday, there were 410 supporters who “liked” the page that was named “1M Malaysians Don't Want Block File Sharing Websites.”

FilesTube Media Search Engine, one of the sites ordered blocked, also commented on the page.

“We have posted information about this on our wall. We are with you.”

Before the page was put up, some Malaysians were already protesting via Twitter.

“You can't create a walled-up Internet garden,” read one tweet.

Some also made reference to the MSC Malaysia Bill of Guarantees which states that the Government will not censor the Internet.

MSC Malaysia is a national initiative that kicked off in 1996 and is aimed at transforming the nation into a knowledge-based economy.

came back from myf camp.
going to be honest.
not as fun as thought. but of course if they were not trying to achieve that, then they did a good job.

- No kissing involved, predictable storyline, nice CGI, story not too dull or boring, nice and cool weapons and vehicles, the ending will not impress or leave you wondering in other words cliff-hanging not so impressive, classic stuff such as daughter meets actually dad and all, main characters get nightmares of old past, old partner comes back for revenge stuff and main character get bashed up but later pwns and owns the bad guys.
- Has a little of V for vendetta, Matrix and Tron elements.

Watch or not?
- If you want to watch epic battles of Humans Fighting Ugly Vampires, Yes.

Pending Spendings

so i finally worked part time for the first time. i mean working for those weekend jobs.

so i stood 20 hours to get some minimum wage. before working i had many things on my mind.

what to buy after getting the salary. that was then.

after completing the job, i realiee that its not easy to earn them and but spending is easy. AGAIN.

not too say im too spoiled cause i rarely do these jobs or not having to worry much for money,

but seriously i started recall back how hard it was working back at the days i worked for papa john's.

every rinngit was earned by sweet talking or more like begging. or not.

so it was an awesome reminder to help me ~~save for the rainy days again~~ plan and spend wisely. thats all.

assignments deadlines and presentations this week. had one on monday and another just now.

i guess not working last minute makes you feel more confident because you know you are well prepared and took real effort at it :P

btw i will be going vegetarian for the win and for fun. unless if there are unavoidable circumstnaces such as having to go to mcdonalds or dim sum with classmates :P
